The street was open as long as you were looting, burning, and attempting to drag people out of their cars.

Which is irrelevant.

Guy that for shot deserved it. Reserve judgement on the Hispanic dude until I know whether the street was closed.

He could have been going to you moms house for a rub and tug. Where he was going is irrelevant if the street was open for vehicles.

If grasping at straws was an Olympic sport, you'd be a gold medalist. Christ almighty.

ETA: You drive a car into a crowd and don't expect some response from bystanders? This isn't a Reginald Denny situation where he was caught in an area at the exact time the protests exploded into full-on chaos. He entered the area on his own accord

So the guy who got shot at point blank range lived? I'm calling bullshite on this and sounds like a setup. Don't put anything past the liberal extremists in the Pacific Northwest

Looks like a repurposed bus stop roof.

Because people have never been pulled out of their cars and beaten during riots before.

Whether or not he could get charged for driving into that area or face other charges, I don't know. But, that's a pretty clear case of self defense.

"Oh God! Oh Jesus!" It's hilarious how all these peaceful anarchists find God when things start going very badly for them.

Yes because no one has been dragged out of their cars and beaten by these people.

Correct. Taped together mags or not he only fired once and stopped once he no longer felt he was in immediate danger. If the street was not barricaded and closed by officials (the rinky-dink barricade the protestors made doesn't count) then this guy should be free.

In Louisiana, your car is an extension of your home. Here he would be fine. Not sure about Liberalville.

What kind of barricade is this?

It's not. Just something that a shite bag grabbed and threw into his path so they could drag him out. That is, until they realized he wasn't letting that happen.

I can't believe there are people on here defending a f**king carjacker.

Definitely didn't say that it hasn't happened Stout, because it has. Plenty of instances of this occurring, not going to try to argue that. I'm simply saying in this particular case, it appears he intended to start shite and look for a reason to "defend himself" before turning himself in.

But I'm not going to pretend we have all the answers because this is a brand new development

That was mean.

Okay, yeah I didn't notice the guy reach into the window the first time.

and also swerved to miss them.

I didn't see any swerving.

Based on what? Him slowing down to not hit anyone? Him only firing once and stopping after he no longer felt an immediate threat?

Pretty sure that crowd felt their life was in danger. He was speeding up as if he was about to drive through the crowd. Do they not have the right to defend themselves?

I just found a Hillary supporter.
