Me and a buddy bought a huge roll of blackjack firecrackers laid out in a big disk. We lit it without unrolling it thinking it would pop for a long time.

Instead, it exploded so fast the whole thing went in about 3 seconds, creating a half-inch deep crater in a limestone driveway and snowed paper for about a minute afterwards.
