Honestly pretty cool. He seems like a sharp guy with a good business model. I can see the allure of paying someone to deal with the bs of buying a car and likely bartering better than I would be able to.

That's deceiving because he is including the rebates already offered off of the sticker as a win. You get those the minute you walk onto the lot

Have you seen the shite posted on here? I’m surprised some people can tie their own shoes. The idea of going to a dealership and closing a favorable deal is above them.

That's still $500 free money.

If the brand grows, dealers will be more inclined to negotiate with them. They aren't gonna do shite with Joe Blow, aka you and me.

You dont think you can get $1500 off of a truck by calling multiple dealerships and pitting them against each other like he does?

Completely depends on the truck and market.

I have had success and failure.

He could be a really good option if you try your hand without success, realizing that you are going to have to sink days of your own time to get the same type of savings on your own.

Not the same guy but I looked into this on a recent car purchase. The guy I talked with had some pre-negotiated deals on certain cars and trims. He did have the car and trim I wanted , but the car had to be picked up at a dealership in Houston (I live in Metairie). He doesn’t divulge the dealership until his fee of $750 is paid. After paying his fee I could have saved about $2000, but I figured my cost of going to Houston at $400, and the local dealer sweetened the deal by $1250, so I went with the local dealer, even though I could have saved about $350 getting the car from Houston.

Looking at the pre-negotiated deals he had, I think that if you are purchasing a high end car, he could have saved a good deal of money, but none of the cars were available from dealers in south Louisiana, had to pick up (or ship) car from dealerships in Texas or Florida.

I know everybody on the OT is a master negotiator and welcomes the challenge, but we’re talking about the average person here.

FWIW, $1k for someone to do the days of research and calling for me, as well as getting me out of the 4 hour round and round BS that goes on at the dealership …. Doesn’t seem like such a bad deal for me. Especially if at the end of the day to “save” $500

If you watch a few of his videos he answers everybody's gripe in here. Paraphrasing him, it is not a money saving service, it's a time and agravation saving. He handles the whole deal. It is nothing anyone else couldn't do. He is not a broker so he doesn't negotiate the deal then tell the customer a higher number. Has like 12 employees doing this and running the social media. He is a sharp guy that came from the car selling/finance side. He will make the thirty calls to get the best deal. If you have seen a few videos you have probably seen them all honestly.

This is common with leases. Sometimes you won’t be able to beat their deals and sometimes you can get close or beat it yourself.
