What would posting the incident on tigerdroppings accomplish? Did you inform police?

Why wouldn’t you call 911 if it was that big of a deal?
He did call 911 if you read the OP and was directed to the BRPD voicemail you dummy.
OP you should have called LSP, BRPD would have done nothing. File a police report with LSP, there is a substation close to CCLA since you have the plate number and description of the hoodrat. The hoodrat committed aggravated assault with a firearm, which is a felony.

That plate is registered to a Toyota Camry in Sulphur.
Your story isn't adding up.

The type of driver it was, if the story is true, is completely capable of swapping plate

The hoodrat could have switched/stole the plate, you know hoodrats do hoodrat things.

It is a state highway within the city limits of BR. That is BRPD's jurisdiction.

Good thing you got the plates.
I'm sure those Flock cameras will have them in custody in no time.

You're saying that someone who is willing to pull a gun out in traffic is going to adhere to the proper vehicle registration laws and regulations in Louisiana?

OP did you call 911 in real time? Or call to report that someone had pulled a gun on you in traffic but fled?

No. What I am saying is that the license plate in the OP is not attached to a hood rat Nissan in Baton Rouge. The plate is registered to a 2021 silver Toyota Camry owned by a 46 year old white lady in Sulphur, Louisiana, who is a cosmetologist.
Yes, this information is available through public records.
