I'm not that close to Siegen and I-10 so I didn't hear anything. I hear sirens all the time off in the distance though. I need to move to Vermont

We absolutely do have too many people incarcerated for victimless crimes. The problem is that the sentences are harsher for crimes like possession than they are for burglary and violent crimes.
Nobody in EBR is seeing jail time for possession of personal use pot without additional charges.

The MOL was like that when I left BR almost 10 years ago. There has been shootings in the parking lot and someone was shot to death near the Nordstrom Rack a few years back.

I’m probably closer than you are but there were sirens almost every thirty minutes last night.
Maybe Mary Lee was open late.

It's a city in decline for sure. Kip had given this place a glimmer of hope but Broome is terrible.
Honestly, BR peaked out in the late 80s to mid 90s. Parker's forced busing changed the city forever over the next decade.

Why is everywhere getting worse?
Look at the birth rates for your answer here. There are significant financial incentives for a certain uneducated, unemployable segment to breed like rabbits. Kids are being produced by any sperm donor that stops by, many passing along their aggressive, criminal genes, leaving baby mommas living in government housing raising kids that don’t know who their daddy is and largely allowed to run amuck from an early age. It is reminiscent of the bad guys breeding orcs in LOTR.
Meanwhile, the productive side of society is having their 1.5 kids and working their collective asses off to subsidize the government giveaways.
Simple math shows that one segment adding at a 1.5 multiplier and the other adding at a 4.5 multiplier tilts the balance in a hurry. It’s why there will be a white minority in some of our younger posters’ lifetimes like there already is in many urban areas.

I can tell you are young and clueless. Nobody goes to jail over weed anymore unless your rap sheet is a mile long or they are using it to enhance your sentence under the habitual offender law. In actuality, first time drug possession of pretty much any drug these days will get you probation. When people do it over and over again, it leaves the judge no option except to put them in jail.

The sin of slavery was so great I guess we just have to sit back and watch blacks destroy the country.
Maybe we have one last gasp before it’s over? Will enough white liberals wake up before their voice doesn’t even matter?

Remember back in the late 80’s going to Delmont Village was considered safe. It’s a complete war zone now. I can’t imagine having a reason to go north of Florida Boulevard.

The perp has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, and illegal use of a weapon for the Saturday night homicide off of Greenwell Springs Rd.
The homicide appears to have stemmed from some kind of domestic dispute. Lone Oak Dr is where the shooting death occurred.

The fellas at his wealth management and financial services office will be floored when they see this, they'll have to take over his client's portfolios this week, no bueno as the end of the fiscal year approaches.

I wasn’t referring to pot. There’s a lot of people in jail for possession of many substances without a prescription.

Their virtue signaling from their white guilt trumps everything.

And cops are so dirty that they tack on as many additional charges in the hopes that some stick. You must not be paying attn to all the “narcotics” busts for possession, cultivating, distribution, etc (Including weed) where they have $200k bonds.

Depends a lot on the parish. Possession is a felony and in LP that is automatic $12.5k bond. Add the fact that cops tack on as many counts as possible so that the jail is full of people with $25-100k bonds for victimless crimes where they have to sit for 3 months bf pleading out in court.

frick him. He could've supported a good mayoral candidate. He didn't. He fought St. George tooth and nail and probably still is behind the scene. Let him hide in his fricking warehouse until the ammo runs out and the horde pours in.
I despise that man.
