Eh, but you kinda still need a car when you are there. Uber is spotty down there

Not if you stay at Phoenix X. What else could you possibly need?

Already fly into Destin. I'm good.

If those flights get popular enough, people are going to start migrating there just for the purpose of being Uber and Lyft drivers.

Lyft is all over here. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a ride.

Headline reads “Gulf Shores hoping to expand airport for commercial flights”

This has been in the works for several years. I built a fuel tank farm at the airport in 2016 in anticipation of the incoming Commerical flights for a private investor.

First a Buc-ee’s, now commercial flights. Next will be an NFL team!

Probably looking at air taxi service like a Southern Airways Express, and they are already equipped enough for that. There are enough airports serving the gulf coast region MSY, GPT, MOB, BFM, PEN, VPS and ECP. That's enough.

If I have to get on a plane to go to the beach, it sure as hell won't be to gulf shores.
