Some of these beachfront communities don't want them there in the first place.

gulf shores has never catered to the spring breakers that much, so i doubt they'll miss the money ...

Some millennials are in their early 30's with families.

As long as the miscreants stay off of 30A and continue to let me have my suitcase on the beach, I don't care though.

Orange beach FTW
maybe our young Frat-stars should learn to keep a low profile when out and about, and remember the biggest rule: Don't be an idiot and if you do, don't be a dick.

Yeah after they got all the deposits in. Be careful they have already made over 1.8 million in fines according to local news. 3000 plus at 700 bucks a pop for underage drinking open container public drunk etc

Gulf Shores doesn't realize the effect this will have on future spring breaks.

Gulf Shores had to do something as the wealthier vacationers and real estate sales were starting to suffer because of the "types" of crowds that were showing up.

Lmao
There is nothing wealthy about gulf shores.

It's a very free state as long as you're not talking about personal freedom

BS. All they did was drop the hammer on the spring break crowd that were acting like assholes. This ban ends next month and things go back to normal.
Try not to be a drama queen.

Think PCB is going to be strict on enforcement if I'm not being an a-hole? Planning on going tomorrow through Wednesday and since it's cold drinking is the only thing left to do.

This is a great way for Alabama cops to get more power, control, and arrests that result in fines and revenue.. They know kids are still going to act up.

Its not like Alabama likes freedom anyway.

No doubt it's targeting the spring break crew and is temporary but explain how this is fair to a property owner who wants to sit on the beach and drink a beer?

Public Intoxications, Underage Drinking, and Litter laws apply and solve these problems without limiting the rights of property owners.

Thankfully Orange Beach has some sense, the mayor even mention the property owners in their decision.
