Big banning and power abuse. Exactly the type of society I don't want to live in.

Personally, I think I'll slip on down there on April 18th and get absolutely shitfaced on the beach. Because I can.

Try not to kill anyone, die, or have any deaths occur while you're there. Then they would institute a summer beach booze ban.

Anyone who violates the new ordinance can face a fine up to $500 or up to six months in jail.
Yikes

That's not the likely penalty, just the standard maximum for a minor misdemeanor.

Not likely to enforce it against regular people.

"Well then...bye"

I don't blame them one bit for passing the ban. If the fools that can't act right would act right, there'd be me need for a ban. Dumb shits brought it on themselves and are getting what they deserve

30A for spring break?

I am well beyond my spring break years, but I do enjoy a cocktail while hanging on the beach.

So how have drunk college kids changed?

Other than recording and posting the spring break awesomeness everywhere.

I still have a University of Budweier cup in my study. :

If people knew how to handle their alcohol I doubt this would have had to happen.

30a use to be quiet and peaceful but now it's overcrowded with people who come from Destin and PCB. Not to mention that it's become the rich white college kid spring break destination.

We've been coming here for 10 years and have a home here. It's gradually started going downhill the last few years. You can't even get into Seaside now because the traffic is a mile long and all the restaurants have hour long waits.

So yeah, that's how it's going to be ruined

Apparently going get wasted on the beach and having lots of sex isn't enough for them. Now they're into rape (if you believe the news reports.)
Oh and in South Beach they like to fight the cops. That's always a good time

Not on spring break. It's insane right now. I know, I'm here right now.
