Your thread correlates with the “more and more women not interested in having babies” thread. I wonder why that is?

Grown men shouldn't have time to play video games. At least that's my situation. I'd love to drop $500 on a new Xbox and College Football 25 but would only get an hour or two a week to play it.

I mean that’s the boat I’m in but I don’t look down on those who do have time for it. I have buddies that don’t have kids so they have more time to give to it. More power to them. I think talking shite about someone just for playing video games like it’s childish is childish in itself.

Nah I’m not talking shite. It’s just that most of us don’t have time in general. I wish I had more time. Want to channel my teenage years with GTA6 next year lol

Is that the cowboy game? It looks like it would be fun to play. Is it like GTA ?

Basically. I played it a ton when it first came out, just wandering around. It's GTA but with horses, hunting, and robbery. The usual.

It's pretty much GTA on a horse.

FOH

That's only for guys who sit home all day and play with no job.

53 grew up on the Atari/Sears/Coleco/Activision consoles. Then I was lucky enough to be part of the PC gaming genre when they put out badass FPS. Graduated from that to the next gen consoles. Gaming is a part of my life. And I still do all the grown-man stuff. A couple of weeks ago, we spent all day Saturday fixing the catch pen and worming a few head of cattle. Came home had dinner with family. And then LET my son beat me in Madden 3x.

Or you could say they are simply enjoying their life the way they choose to enjoy it.

What are you contributing to society?
And that’s why adults don’t play video games.

Adults are strapped for time with family, job, board meetings, and church commitments. Maybe a little vacation. We help to build a good life for others, and are rewarded by the nature of the work.

You’ll get there. I hope

I would submit that people are only as busy as they want to be and being busy all the time is a weird flex that I don't understand.

I say this as someone who plays NCAA 12 maybe 2 hours here and there, I'd like to try out NCAA 25 but I don't know about spending that much money on a new console as little as I play.

The amount of downvotes tells you where we are today as a society. Sad and pathetic.

I used to be a big gamer back in my teens and early twenties. I played a lot of FF7, Chrono Trigger, Warcraft 3 (these are great games I liked at that time). I got a PS3, but life got started and gaming went by the wayside. You’ll grow out of it.

I’m 37 and a remote worker. I game all the time when my work is done and family obligations are taken care of. I’d drive myself crazy if I didn’t have that outlet

Grown men should do what makes them happy. My dad is a huge boomer that judges video games but binges more TV shows than anyone I know

Or worked more, or watched more TV, or watched more movies, or listened to more music, or spent more time woodworking, or more time working on cars, or or or or.

What’s your point?
