I personally wouldn’t want to do it but I can understand adults going to Disney/Universal without kids. However, the ones that go every year and no where else are fricking weirdos.

I didn’t understand it neither, until we made our first trip to Disney with our 3 kids. That’s when I totally got why just my wife and I going could be much more enjoyable. Not saying we would ever do it, but I get it now.

I was at a conference years ago in Orlando and on the last night they rented out Universal for a party. I had a good time and didn't feel weird.
I have been to a conference like this. Adults riding rides in a park with drinks and snacks was better than regular team building activities. The next year the conference was in Vegas. That was much more chaos.

My grandmother had a florist shop at the Disney hotel in California. During the summer when I was young, she'd give me a book of tickets everyday and told me come back when I was done. It was a good experience as as a young kid. I have no desire to go as an adult though lol.

Yes. Emotionally stunted adults.

We usually went with the kids but one time me and the now ex wife went to Epcot for Food and Wine. We stayed at the Beach club and were only a few feet fun the back entrance. We maybe rode 4 rides in two days we weren't there for rides. Mainly ate and drank in Epcot and had a great time. .

Shouldn’t be allowed just like children’s museum to reduce pedos.

As we know, Disney has a whole other agenda.

Must of bought a shitty timeshare they cant get out of.

Disney Vacation Club is one of the only timeshares that gains value. It is the easiest one to resell.

Obsessing over anything is unhealthy.

Would I absolutely go to Disney World or Universal if I knew people who are going. Yes. Would I be a man child about it, no.

I’d go, ride the rides, try some unique food, and go on with the trip. Simple as that

It is incredibly disturbing but if that's somehow how they want to spend their money and time, then fine.

What the hell is wrong with these people? I think that’s one of the reasons the parks are so jam packed and over-filled all the time.

Well I dont go to Disney but I do go to Universal, especially for Halloween Horror Nights, though I usually have a date. Universal is a great time.

Depends what your definition of grow up means. I have a business, I own property and I pay taxes. I dont commit crime and dont bother my neighbor.

I like roller coasters, I like drinking and splurging on snacks at Horror Nights. I enjoy people watching. The resorts have nice pools when I want to relax.

Seems like you have some serious anger issues. I work plenty hard, with my hands for 14 hours a day and I sign the paychecks of plenty of people. Heaven forbid I want to spend my free time walking around a park getting exercise and riding a roller coaster instead of sitting in sand and scorching myself in the sun while pounding natty light.

It would be nice if my kids would not have to wait an hour in line behind a bunch of adults in the future.

Sounds like you want your kids to be coddled and catered to

I try to be a "you do what makes you happy" type....but lord this one will never make sense to me. One of my employees will go on about drinking around the world... im like... ya know... for the price of all the Disney trips you go on...you could actually... start traveling the damn world

I get this. Im a bachelor in my 30s. The world goes on and on about how people like me are life's losers. Im typing this from Poland so I am traveling the world. This October ill drive down to Orlando and for a week stay at Universal and go to Horror nights. Ill bring my nieces if my sister will let me...or ill bring a date...or ill get one last minute on Tinder...or ill just go alone. Any of those options are better than sitting at home watching TV and wasting away. If im gonna be single, im gonna take advantage of my freedom. Sorry not sorry to OPs kids that have to wait an extra 30 seconds to ride Velocicoaster

*FTR I wouldnt go to Disney if I was being paid to and yes for the price of a week at Disney, you can book cheap flights on Kiwi to Europe and travel for a week or two...but not everyone can handle that kind of travel

In our late 50’s ( wife and I) we went last year without kids or grandkids also attended LSU vs Florida St game. Had a blast at the parks.
