Why are people talking about planning ahead. Planning ahead has nothing to do with it? I don’t need anything from the store. Anything I would need is across the street from the store at the cvs. I would have made a purchase from the store if it was open on the walk home. It wasn’t so I didn’t. Not planning ahead has nothing to do with it.

Then why the frick are you complaining? Why are you so bitter that you found it necessary to create a thread and complain about something that literally had no effect on you?

Merry Christmas though buddy

Those people have families and would like to spend Christmas Eve with them as well. Kudos to those places who give their employees off

This has to be the worst Christmas Eve thread in the OT today.

IMO, the only stores that should be open tonight and tomorrow are gas stations near the interstate for travelers.

Oh, and Waffle House!!!

The store near me provides special services that would have been nice today

You should elaborate what these "special services" are because you posted this earlier

Just go to trashy-arse Walmart. Closes at 7 pm tonight

The one I went to literally closed at 5:15 by stopping people from coming in.

Then they had the bright idea to have only 8 registers open and close the self checkouts.

The lines were backing up into the clothes.

It felt like Black Friday.

One lady who only had a few items got pissed and literally threw her stuff down when an employee and a cop told her that the workers had to be out the store for 6:15.

So I was lucky to get there just before all this started.

They even barricaded the second entrance with crushed boxes as if a hurricane was coming at 5 pm.

It's Christmas eve. Plan better and this isn't an issue.

It’s one night a year. People need to be with their families. I think the absolute minimum should be open on Christmas Eve.

Why weren't you at work at that time?

Why weren't you at work at that time?

There might have been someone who was in the market for whatever your company offers or produces.
