Grits could be the most overrated southern food. They are not good at all.

I'm not sure why some shite poor people in dirt floor shacks made became some southern staple in 2019

Some people just don't know good eating and thank you I was brought up in a family that only dreamed of being poor. But we ate bud. I've dined in 5 star hotels in Paris, Berlin, London, L.A. and Miami. But I would drive 500 miles to sit down at my mom's table to her twice cooked cornbread, turnips with roots, butter beans and fried okra. All cooked with yesterday's bacon grease. Then a supper of the rest of that huge cornbread mashed in a glass of cold milk that came out of old "Bossy" today! Eating is one of life's pure pleasures.

Isn’t the most Michelin Stars one can receive 3?

It's a deal but good as WH is (and I desperately missed it when I was kicking those Texas boys asses in business a few back when) they don't really do grits justice. Quick grits and not seasoned right. But I like them waffles now.

Hell fire man, the best pie I ever ate was La. Cussaw, it's spelled different in diff places. One of my friends in Houston was a Creole and she could make it and boil them cabbage down and turn that hoecake round with her cooking and other matters.

I'm not sure I want an English translation to find out what this means.

You're right. I sped through a walnut, apple salad on Kale and Spinach with ginger Dijon Vinaigrette so I could get to the Grits for a desert!

I made loaded grits this weekend with smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, fried hashbrowns, grilled onions & bells, and green onions.

Funny you should mention that. I'm studying on maybe some Reds with Jasmine rice with garlic, onions, peppers, and a little RO TEL with a dash (or two) of cayenne for supper.
