Is so crazy how big trucks are now. I was watching Back to the Future and the 1985 Toyota SR5 is so small but I would love to have it now

Toyota Hilux is the greatest truck ever built. Sadly hard to get them in the US

Mid 1990s…..Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota were all better then than they are now. And they were an appropriate size back then too.
The new Nissan Frontier might be the only one that is an improvement over the mid 1990s Nissan trucks.
Except for interior quality, these were the GOAT:
Everything was more slab sided back then. But that’s how trucks were supposed to be.
I don’t think any Dodge of that era made it more than a 3 years without cracking the dashboard though.

My 2020 only has 31k miles. (I drive a Company Tacoma daily). I plan on keeping my Tundra for many years.

Anything late 1990s Chevy/GMC with Vortec. Simple, powerful, reliable.
Anything Toyota pre-2024(?) especially the Top Gear HIlux
Coolest looking? Mack B60
Truck I most want for the weekend, the last real bronco. Unfortunately these are priced higher than giraffe p***y. I am not paying Maserati money for one.
The truck that won wwii - Studebaker
Would also lilke a AM General Deuce custom with soft top
And my favorite deep cut: the Kaiser-Jeep M715. Looks like a Wagoneer, has a soft top and a bed. Way cool. I'm sure they're priced ridiculous.

2013 Tundy
Mf'er still ticking with 350k miles. Non motorized parts were plug and play replacable. Replaced suspension, rear axle, alternator, starter, cabin blower, rear camera. Occasional brake pads

Had a ‘94 Chevy 5.7 TBI truck that had 275 on it with only new batteries and brakes. Gave it to bro-law in about ‘06 that rolled it for years after. Gotta be worth being in the conversation

Mine is similar except I wasn’t smart enough to get 4x4. Wish my truck was blue. The black is so hot in the Texas sun.

Id say the Cat eye Duramax was the best mass produced diesel truck.

The new Tundras as the best looking truck made

I had a grey one like this in 1990, paid I think $6800 for it. Why did I ever sell it for peanuts?
