Not as good as the camp ground set up in the 9th ward a few weeks ago. The city shut it down.

NO HIGH HEELS! The floors cost more than the neighbors house.

If you run out of things to do, give everyone a funny nickname and trade stories of drinking 4 loco in prep school! So fun.

Legit.

Accommodates: 16+
Bedrooms: 6

Just because you can put 3 beds in the kitchen doesn't mean you should

$300 a night to stay at a crack den? Seems a bit pricey...

But when you split it 16 ways, it's only $18.75 a night.

the entire thing is just a really passive aggressive tirade against gentrification

which is hilarious

well, that and specifically air bnb which is a separate beast that is co-mingling with the gentrification topic.

Yep, especially in the Bywater...

Where tons of properties available through AirBnB:

I met a guy in vegas over the weekend who does this. I had no idea what he was talking about when he told me he does Air BNB for a living. He has a 4 bed 3 bath house 20 mins from the strip and rents out the other three rooms to tourists. He explained it to me and I responded with "that sounds horrible!"

My thing is mind construction and I love to carry musical instruments you can't pronounce. Came here to write a bleach commercial and fell in love. Never have I seen a city tht is such a problem free dreamscape. Leave the trauma/drama above sea level as we say in the 9th ward.

There are so many people just like us here, my neighbor came to teach local children life skills like 13th century Italianate macramé and trust fund management. My other neighbor employs a maid who's uncle is a Mardi Gras Indian. I'll introduce you to her!

My neighbor has a duplex and rents out the downstairs unit on air BnB. He says he makes way more than if he just leased out the unit....and this is in Dallas....not exactly a tourist mecca. But renting out rooms in my house....or renting a room in someones house, doesn't sound great.

I would totally do it if I had a separate entrance/apartment connected to my house. I use Airbnb pretty regularly.

Short term rentals are illegal in the city. I wonder why the city doesn't shut all of this down. I'd rather build a community in that area than a glorified apartment complex.
