Accommodate.

To paraphrase : "this technology will save lives, resources and money."

Throw in the plaintiff's Bar. That will make for strange bedfellows.

I'm waiting on Hyundai to install an automatic sammich maker in the Genesis line. One more step towards independence.

I thought so too until recently. There's a really good CGP Grey video where he makes some good points, one of which is "the safe driver who pays his small premiums and never gets in a wreck is the ideal insurance customer".

Edited cause I mixed up the name cause I'm a dummy.

I cannot wait to press a button on my phone and 30 sec later a car pulls up and drives me back home no matter where I am without the necessity of annoying small talk

The government's wet dream, ultimate control over peoples movement. Will never own one even when it becomes mandated.

Insurance companies will be fine so long as the government says you have to have it. Police on the other hand? No more speeding tickets means that they have to go get revenue from state legislatures and not easy money from speeding tickets. I wonder what argument the police lobby will use to try and prevent driverless tech?
