Went to San Antonio for Christmas and was parked on the edge of downtown where my youngest son works (tech startup in an old warehouse building). Two sketchy bums start approaching us when my son was inside turning the alarms off. You could tell they were deciding how aggressive to be. I engage the dog, who was with us. She ramps up to Cujo mode. Son, ex-Marine and proficient boxer, comes out and runs them off.
It was enjoyable to see the shift in attitude. It went from the evil eye to "Merry Christmas".
