A headquarters expansion that will include a commercial office warehouse facility and helicopter storage hangars and landing pad is being planned by Five-S Group on 10 acres on Highland Road, between Jefferson and Airline highways.

Bill Gates had one of these built on Lake Union in Seattle. There was nowhere for him to land his helicopter so he said frick yall and built a floating helo pad right in between a bunch of house boats.

There's several helicopter landing pads/hangars scattered all around town. I have a family member that keeps theirs in a hangar on Pecue.

I doubt the ROI is worth it though. Plus you have to convince people it’s safe enough to fly over there respective locations for drop offs.

These guys will go down in as big a show as they are trying to make with this project. When the money runs out from selling dirt out west and their other ventures prove to be as foolish as they are it will all crash. Johnny come lately would be a good term for them

My neighbor built one in Watson and he doesn't even own a helicopter. It's in his backyard. There are signs that the state put in and it even shows up as an "airport" on Google streets.
