I haven’t slept a wink.
I don’t get it. I’ve been around guns my whole life. Slaughtered and butchered animals. All sorts of gory stuff.
I’ve seen people die and dead people.
But somehow some stupid thugs beefing and one getting killed in front of me is fricking with my head and I don’t get why. It doesn’t make sense. No one component should bother me but I just can’t shake this weird arse feeling of slight uncomfortableness.
There are murders in BR all the time. I make jokes about them. This shouldn’t phase me. And yet...here I am prattling on like a lunatic

Good morning FR33, No matter what your background is, it was a traumatic experience. We, as humans, tend to want to help other humans. You are probably also thinking if there was anything else you could have done. There wasn't.
You saw a bad situation and your fight or flight kicked in. You made it home safe and did nothing wrong. I hope you had a good, calm meal, in a safe environment, treating yourself to something that is special to you.
Another problem is that you have hit some sketchy areas and always felt relatively safe. Some of that feeling of safety was snatched from you yesterday. For now, you have to figure if you can get back to being OK with being there again, or move on to a different gig.
While you work through it, make an extra effort to enjoy life and just pamper yourself a little.
