Rio is a trashy city, we drive by that bay on the way to and from our hotel, you can almost walk on the trash that rafts up along the shore and forms a permanent 10-12' band

I've been waiting to watch this train wreck since they announced the site for the games. I was hoping Somalia or North Korea would get the nod but Rio will do.

really is a bad choice, had to have been some serious palm greasing, the wife and kids wanted to go for about a week or so, fortunately a friend of mine that lives there about half of the time intervened and told them what they could expect and talked them out of it

At the test event held there many of the sailors couldn't finish the event due to illness from the water. There were reports of them having to sail around floating bodies on the way out of the harbor.

But let's not stop this from being an Olympic hottie thread
