I think its time we question the blatant environmental waste of the Advocate. I never subscribed to their paper but they keep throwing them in my yard, wrapped in plastic, that immediately goes to the recycling bin or dissolves into the concrete

I've also noticed lately that WAFB channel 9 has apparently started drinking the climate-change kool-aid.
That’s because WAFB is not a local company and is owned by Gray Television. They get their marching orders from the national company.
WBRZ is still owned locally by the Manships.

Thomas' dissent praised Dunn for the way he advanced himself and supported his family after the killing — a stark contrast from the way Brumfeld had lived his life, the justice wrote.
Praising someone for the way they handled adversity and tragedy is not the same thing as claiming something good has come from that adversity and tragedy.
Dunn should have the maturity to know the difference.
I think of Holocaust survivors. They can be praised if they handled it better than most people. But to use that as the basis for a claim that something good came out of the Holocaust is an extremely dramatic stretch of the truth.

And don't overlook in the article credits: "Technical and financial support for the data analysis and interactive features of this article were provided through a grant from Microsoft Corp."

So he's mad that Thomas was glad that Warrick Dunn worked hard and improved himself with good life choices, and helped to provide for his siblings? idk why he's mad about that.
It’s honestly tough to imagine someone being okay with co-opting a story of that nature, especially when unexpected.

Define co-opted and explain how it applies here

Trying to find it skinny, I know it happened because that’s why I canceled my subscription and told them so on the phone

Maybe Dunn still feels anger over what happened and that he'd rather still have his mom alive rather than brutally murdered despite the good that came out of it.
You’d have to really twist that with your internal dialogue to get that interpretation.

They have been for a while, they are also still big on getting COVID vaxxed/boosted.

Journalism departments of universities have always been incredibly liberal. MSN is now run by them from the top down. MSN is no longer about the news above all else. It prioritizes activism first and then the news. Corporate sponsored activism. The scary part is they no longer even try to hide it.

Quinn Hillyer is extremely conservative. I looked at the piece you cited before responding…note his point re a separate issue (says he just published a piece addressing it) as to *why* there’s currently no info on Biden wrongdoing sufficient to jeopardize the country.
(Quinn was a classmate, & I’m proud to know him, but I don’t read him anymore —he’s too conservative for me. Which probably—Mr. Pimp—means I should read him!)
