My neighbor has a golden and it's a sweetheart. My Catahoula is a wonderful dog. I've never had a dog love me as much as she does and always happy to see me

Labs are better but Goldens are a good runner up. Fun fact, Golden Retrievers account for more dog bites than any other breed.

I've had Goldens for the past 35 years. They are the best and Labs are a close runner up. And I've never been bitten. But don't frick with her food in the morning. With my latest I learned that quickly.

We just bought a puppy from a breeder in Arkansas...golden puppies around Dallas were going for $2500...we paid $700 for ours and she is awesome...we just made a weekend out of going get her.

Adopted Catahoula /Choc Lab mutt for the win.
