For those that have followed this, I want to know if he was present at the town hall meeting when a guy supposedly stood up and said something about how a real man wouldn't get tied up and let an intruder have his way with his wife.
Then like 3 weeks later, the East Area Rapist showed up and did exactly that to him and his wife

This is making my day/night.
Can't wait to go back and read all about this case again. Its been a couple years since I really got into it, minus the few dramatized versions on TV recently.
This is one sick frick.

They could have gathered it the same way that they apparently gathered it this time.
Maybe they are dealing with a limited amount of sample DNA from the crimes, which could make them hesitant to use that sample DNA without a decent idea that they were right. You don't want to destroy the DNA sample and be wrong.

No word on whether he is Mr. Cruel or not.
The DA just said that she first heard of Mr. Cruel yesterday, so I guess it's still up in the air.

Did she say he was spilling the beans?
I would love him to detail everything he did in a creepy way like BTK
Then we bring him out back and shoot him in the head once all of his victims' families get closure.

The FBI hypothesized a link to Mr. Cruel when he was active, and communicated with the Australian police about it. On my phone so can't link, but there have been stories in the Australian media today.

Has bandage on his head and maybe a little blood on shirt and eye lid.
Wonder if he resisted?

He's on suicide watch. May have made an attempt.

Weird that the DA wouldn't have known about that.

I guess we won’t hear any details about how they nabbed him because it’s an ongoing investigation, right?

Ex-law enforcement, with a military background and was in Vietnam. Was he a seal? If so that’s would explain the way he was able to move around and not get caught, and be able to handle the men without much trouble. Was this a continuance of what he was doing during his interrogation practices in Vietnam???
