Golden State Killer possibly caught

I think the series I watched was on ID. He was good at what he did, and without DNA and the tech we have now it was a lot easier for these people to stay hidden. He stuck to areas he could get out of quick. Especially if he is a cop..

Holy Balls. I’m obsessed with the GSK/EAR case and very familiar with Mr Cruel . I’m embarrassed to say it never occurred to me they could be the same guy. EAR/ GSK stopped in 1986 after the young girl was murdered. And if they can tie the Aussie suspect geographically to the Visalia ransacker case my mind will be blown.

The timeline matches perfectly . The physical description is similar. The highly organized mind matches. The morphing into murder matches. The subduing and weird distinctive knots fits. The hog tying of other family members fits. The clothing roughly matches. The extreme time spent in Home fits and the eating meals in home fits. The conversations and theme of the conversations in the home fits. The “fake conversations” fit . The serial aspect of both cases fit.
The kidnapping is different. The cleaning of victims he did in Australia is different. The accents are different. The lack of cutting the bindings/strips at the scene is different. The lack of using shoelaces as bindings in Australia is different.
I wonder if the Aussie victims identified the EAR/GSK audio tapes?
