Those helicopter landings are no joke

What would be the justification to spend that money for your viewing pleasure? Would you rather that than an extra few minutes on the moon?

Watching these fricking helicopters land on the ships, I think I’m taking my chances on the boat. That shite looks sketchy as hell.

I don’t recall Apollo taking this long. Especially once they got to 15.

It’s not that difficult to do. We installed new cameras after the Columbia accident. It would be a simple upgrade to make to SLS.

Annnnnd did you live stream it or download it later. Say…a day or two after launch.
The cameras aren’t the issue.

Next time we hear about an aircraft/helo accident keep that in mind. They do these ops 24/7/365. Its all dangerous. You should see carrier recoveries but not just the landing the taxiing to its final parking spot where it will overhang the deck edge. All at night on a pitching deck.
We train like we fight and is why we are best in the world.

No it’s for public relations and getting the public even more excited. SpaceX nails this.
Since when did spending money matter to this program? It’s been a money pit, over budget and behind schedule. We just had 60 people on the water for recovery. And you’re arguing about minutes on the moon for some upgraded camera equipment?

Why are we only seeing two of the astronauts?

Damn I figured Hansen would need the chair since it's his first time.

This NASA is so different from old NASA. Makes me cringe.
