This can happen just from sneezing or blowing your nose or even coughing. Anything that suddenly causes very localized BP to rise and it causes a vessel to leak.

Takes a couple of days to clear up. Avoid over the counter eye drops like the old Murine as they affect the vessels in the eye which is the issue to begin with.

Concerning thing is my usual BP is 90/60. Also vision is blurry out of my left eye and it kinda hurts.

made coffee at 5am this morning and put it in my stanley thermos and fell back asleep

just took a sip of it and it's still just as hot as when I made it this morning

If you have vision disturbances and pain you may want to consider the ER (Sunday morning is usually not THAT busy but it gets busier the later in the day as people start checking in for admissions for Monday morning procedures)

I have only experienced outer eye vessel rupture that maybe itched but never altered vision or caused pain. Your rupture sounds like it was an internal vessel which can be destructive to your retina and the nerves.

If you are diabetic you definitely should have the ER check it out. May take a couple hours since they may have to call in an eye doctor so have a good snack and head that way.

It may be a simple leak that has already stopped but it could be as serious as needing surgery. Don’t risk your vision, you have a lot to see in the future.
