I know that's got to feel good. Are you holding physical gold?
It definitely helps being invested in something like that during these times. I didn't by gold, but I bought SQQQ when it was a little over $26 in February. I'm in it at 26.44, so it has definitely helped offset some losses. Unfortunately I just didn't buy enough.
SQQQ is not something I'd ever hold long term. Normally I'm in and out in a day, but considering I'm up so much as I pretty much caught the most recent bottom of it, I'm going to let it ride for a while. If it gets back up to around $50, I'll probably offload it.

I am a yuge proponent of "If you don't hold it, you don't own it." I keep it in a SD box at the bank, though that scares me. When I read aboot the FBI robbing that bank's SD boxes in Cali, it scared the crap out of me. They robbed it because they just wanted to know what was in it. Then people have to start the years long process of getting their belongings back.

Hopefully, the IRS never gets their mitts on any of it.
