A Bee Joke

A veteran bee welcomes a young worker bee to his first day on the job.

The veteran bee says, "Welcome to the hive! We divide it up into different cities. The queen and her eggs are the most important, so they are considered A-bees. They get to live in A-bee city."

The veteran continued, "The warrior drones are important for protecting the hive, so they are B-bees and they get to live in B-bee city. Unfortunately, you and I are worker bees, not as important as A- or B-bees, so we have to live in C-bee city."

As the two walked along, the veteran pointed to a dark cluster in the hive. "The higher letters are the worst part of the hive. They are for the bees who did something bad, like if you kill another bee, you get Z-bee city. That one down there is Q-bee city, for bees who are too lazy to work."

Thinking quickly, the young bee asked, "What happens to bees who eat too much honey?"

The veteran replied, "That's easy. They get O-bee city."
