It is also becoming the hardest part. There ae millions more people in central FL since I moved here. They make precious few new roads and lanes to handle all of the new people.

There are constantly big condo cities being built, but no infrastructure to handle all of those folks.

Morning everyone
Gonna give yall a friendly warning - truck freight has slowed to a crawl over the last week or two. As the logistics goes, so does the economy because stuff doesn't magically appear on shelves or at manufacturers. I have never come to Ohio and been told there's no freight available to leave with, but that's what has happened the past few days. I delivered a load on Friday afternoon and am not booked to leave again until Monday morning. I've never been this slow.

Why is that? Slowdown in buying or something else?

Actually enjoyed a little hotel breakfast for once since we got a day off today.

Purchasing is declining big time, inventories not moving out of warehouses, production isn't cranking out much product to move. My company covers transportation between production to distribution and some distribution to retail - is at an absolute snails pace now. Way worse than the usual late winter/early spring freight slowdowns that happened before the covid shutdown in 2020.
