My oldest grandson is almost 24 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His little brother is 9. They are my oldest's (she is 42, almost 43) kids.
I have a 7-month-old granddaughter by my 41-year-old son. He started very late
I was 21 when my first was born. I have two other kids who are 27 and 25. Neither is married,
The 27-year-old (son) doesn't seem to be in any hurry. No serious relationships.
The 25-year-old has had a serious boyfriend for several years now, and both she and her BF want kids when they marry. I told them both I'm only a couple of years away from retirement, and I don't plan to pay for a wedding after I retire
I was 21 when my first kid was born, 38 when my last kid was born, and 40 when my first grandson was born.

Not at all! I love hearing about other people’s families- especially big ones!
You’ve got quite the spread between your own children and then your grandchildren.. with what sounds like even more to come if your 25yr old goes ahead and gets hitched before you’re 99.
I bet they all bring you a lot of joy!
My family is small- a 26yr old daughter (the grandkids are hers) and a 17yr old son. Wish I’d had more than just those two. They’re enough, but it would have been lovely to have more!

My wife is 5 years younger than I am. My daughter had a child at 18, still in high school. Long story short, she moved in with her mom, went wild, and reaped the consequences. But those things happen to lots of folks. She raised a fine young man, he has a serious girlfriend. I would not be surprised if they married and I ended up with a great-grandkid before I have another grandchild.
I'm 64, BTW, if you didn't want to do the math.
