Apparently the average Mexican auto worker makes $3.14 an hour
No one wants to say this but why do we care about the auto industry so much? If Mexicans making $30/ day total can build cars it seems like common sense to not care about those manufacturing jobs.
The fact is these damn Americans don’t deserve $30-50/ hour to work the floor if Mexicans can do it for $3.50/ hour.
That’s a big reason why many manufacturing jobs are now paying $15-20/ hour and people in the Midwest are pissed off about. It simply doesn’t require highly skilled labor any longer for the most part.

lol GM is such a dumpster fire. Makes sense because they've been building nothing but garbage for decades now.

The UAW is to blame for so much in the auto industry.

This does not mean that sticker prices will be lower. Only that production costs will be lower so that profits will be higher.
Seems like this is what usually happens. Or maybe the profit margin for the manufacturer increases many times more than the saving to the consumer. That way the manu can still say we saved the costumer money but in reality it was quite marginal.

Biggest thing I got out of this is GM bringing back the blazer. Didn’t know that.

Nissan, VW, Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, and Chrysler have been building cars in Mexico for decades.
The new boycott of these brands is going to send a huge message. YUGE.
