Pretty weird, see a lot of Cruzes and Impalas on the road.

Here is an idea. Make cars in non union states and stop making shitty cars. I find it hard to believe ford and Chevy are dropping the majority of their car lines.

The CTS vs CT6 was always kind of dumb and the XTS was too similar as well.

Smart move from Cadillac to have ATS and CTS only. They need to come out with a true Halo sedan though.

What are they replacing it with in the Chevy lineup?

Whaever the Chevy version of the Buick Encore is. The last woman I dated drove an Encore, absolutley no cargo space in it what so ever. Damn thing is shaped like an egg.

The CT6 was supposed to be their new flagship competitor to the 7 series...etc. fricker was massive, but I personally love the lines on it. Much better looking than the XTS. My grandparents have had 3 of the latter, and while nice, they're just kinda there. Really boring cars.

I never understood why they kept the XTS when they started the CT6. Size wise they are very similar.

People like to sit up high and have spacious vehicles. I do too.

I like the current Impala though. It’s a car I’d drive, if I didn’t drive a truck.

Gas prices are going to go back up eventually. Will they just flip the switch and start making cars again when that happens?

I really like the Impala, except for the goofy steering wheel. I couldn’t look at that thing.

They’ve been building crap for a long time and it’s catching up with them. Kia, Toyota, Nissan, Honda are killing them in the car market. If Toyota dropped the prices on their trucks the so called big three would be gone in five years.
Chrysler should have been gone in the seventies and the government bailed them out. They and GM should have been gone but for Obama-bail.

GM fricked up whwn Obama was still in office and they bet their future on the American public wanting to buy smaller cars with higher fuel efficiency. They though the price of fuel would continue to rise, thus making smaller hybrids and electric vehicles more attractive. They took that bet and lost. Trump was elected, took the reigns off the oil industry, and fuel prices have gone down, way down. When fuel prices are not an issue, most people don’t want little electric cars. This is why GM is closing plants, laying off thousands, and generally going to shite.

Contrast how GM is doing to Ford who put their focus on making the F-150 and their line of SUVs and cross-overs. Ford is blowing and going.

Ford is a horribly run company and is, by all accounts, floundering even more than General Motors right now.

Ford’s stock has shed 22% in value this year alone. They’ve not only canceled all of their sedans in the US, but they are also completely flat footed in China and losing ground in Europe.
