I was in Pluckers a few weeks ago and overheard two male African Americans talking. One was in town from California and has a business. He was telling the BR native how he was uprooting his family and taking his business to Texas.
Dude said this almost verbatim and I was in disbelief:
"Man it's too expensive in California now. We're going to Texas in the next couple of months. Everything's cheaper there."

Those rankings are dumb. They have Liberia and El Salvador ranked above the US too. Many other 3rd world shitholes too.
