Natural gas price increase = nitrogen fertilizer increase. It's as simple as that.

China apparently sees something we don’t.
Also, Russia apparently does as well.
Global Domination.
America destroyed its own manufacturing and then bloated its currency. China and Russia smell blood in the water. We are absolutely fricked.
We desperately need to start manufacturing our own goods at minimum in North/ South America and we need to drastically cut our bullshite spending and consumerism greed

That imported potash was sold onto markets at below market rates. And was produced under state controlled industries. Basically foreign government profiting off the American people at the expense of American companies and workers. No wonder the Commerce Department found in favor of Mosaic and imposed tariffs to level the playing field appropriately. If it were just supply and demand, fine. It wasn’t.
So is a most of the rice and other food crops imported in to this country and farmers have complained for years and the govt hasn't done shite
Same thing with Oil imports

Literal food shortages is what it’s going to take. As in, those who can’t cook and don’t have any reserves and buy all of their groceries weekly not being able to feed themselves. And it’s coming faster than you think

For progressives there will never be a point where they have had enough. They're exactly like a cult, if their ideological masters tell them to drink the Flavor Aid, they will.

One of the approved disposal methods for Class A generated biosolids is application to farm fields. While they may not have the N/P ratio of commercial fertilizers they are readily abundant and could easily supplement commercial products. Many facilities simply landfill their solids, which is a waste if there is a better use for them.
So from a farmer’s perspective, no it is not economical to apply a product that’s 12%N and high volume to fertilize a cash crop, but something that can be done, is plant cover crops and apply the bio solid to cover crop to ensure max growth for scavenging the nutrients already in the soil for the upcoming cash crop.
To have any chance at defeating these big fertilizer companies, the goal has to be to reduce demand for synthetic fertilizers.

This is unbelievable considering all the shite the Democrats have been dumping on the American people.

It’s not just fertilizer, but phosphate is also used as corrosion inhibitors in damn near all open recirculating cooling water systems. It’s going to make a lot of things a lot more expensive.
We also use them in potable water systems to protect the piping. Unless we want another Flint, MI, water bills are about to go up. Every single chemical we sell to water treatment plant has increased dramatically and continue to do so.
