Giving livestock laxatives and watching them on acid?

Listening to a podcast and the guest was originally from Louisiana. This guy was telling stories from his drug days and one of them was his friends family owned cows and horses. He said his friend would give them laxatives and they'd hit acid and just watch them shite for like 15min straight.
