I was just joking when I said rainbow flag.. Well kind of. I don't have a problem with gay people, I just don't like the gays that are all "in your face" with it.

Like Chappelle said in his last special. I like the old school gays who used to hide it and take their chances with the glory hole.

It's the "Four Moors" flag. It's supposed to represent the four victories over the invading Moors.

There's another story that is based on some battle in 1096 led by Peter of Aragon in Northeast Spain. When the battle was over he was presented with a shield with a Cross of St. George on it along with the decapitated heads of four unlucky invaders (some say they were Moorish princes). In some versions of that legend it's said St. George himself appeared on the battlefield and led the defeat of the Moors and even decapitated the soldiers himself.

I've seen that flag before and read a ton about it and the history of Sardinia. Pretty interesting stuff. The original had the heads facing the left. They changed it in 1999 to face right and took the blindfold off the eyes and put it on the forehead.

Some Sardinian beer company even used it for their label:
