A few questions:
1. Do you have a man bun?
2. Do you vote democrat?
3. Do you go to a dealership and seek out vehicles with an option to add a butt plug inserter to the driver seat?
If you answer "yes" to any of those questions, a Subaru is for you.

Sounds you shoulda got rid of it lickety-split.

Lesbians aren't really zipping around in rally cars
It's small as shite, and not great performance for a "rally car". I'd dust that thing in my 2011 M37x and I can fit 3 sets of golf clubs in the trunk with room to spare.

what does a WRX do better at bumps than a 3 series? they are both small sedans
edit, unless you are being an older hatch WRX but they are still low
Because one is a rally car and one isn't?

To be honest,I still chuckle when I see a dude driving a Subaru.

My Outback is a fricking incredible vehicle.
That's all I've got.

Why?

Our Outback burns a lot of oil, which is a common trait for flat four engines.

Not this time, no
Other questions:
1. Do I like extremely reliable vehicles?
Yes
2. Do I want best in class AWD performance with SUV level ground clearance?
Yes
3. Do I want a very nice interior and good performance for under $40k new off the assembly line?
Yes
4. Do I think it is a chick magnet?
No, and I don't care because I'm married. I'm a pragmatist to the bone.

It's been sterotyped as a woman's car. Look at the marketing strategy: Subaru = love. Nothing about the merits of the vehicle.

Do you take your dog everywhere?

We bought my wife an Outback last year. Excellent car. If I didn't need a truck for work, I'd seriously consider buying a second Outback for myself.
The wrx's are quick, but I haven't been a fan of the newer body style on them. I loved the old boxier style.

What model Land Cruiser do you have? I've got a 100 series that is awesome (except it drinks like a sailor on leave).

Come to Montana and it's just a piece of machinery to get you up and down the mountain.
The marketing is pretty pukeworthy.
no marketing necessary out here.

I rented an outback during my hiking trip in New Hampshire and Quebec a few weeks ago. Brand new. Damn thing was nice. Loaded, comfortable, great ride. It almost made me think of getting rid of the fj. Then I realized I love not having a car payment.
