By your protesting so much, it's obvious, she's already fricking someone on the side.

if she is a good girlfriend then she will tell you to go the game and have a good time. If she is one of them whiny bitches that will complain about you wanting to not go to this wedding then she isn't the right girl.

Why doesn't she get her friend to have the wedding at the stadium, and tailgate for the reception?

Her friend is a hipster.

She doesn't care about sports.

I don't care about her friend. Or her tat sleeved hipster BF who thinks incubus is metal.

But nevertheless. The girl friend asked me to go. And if any man here says he wouldn't care...he is either abusive or flat lying. We all know the saying of happy wife happy life. Well you live with a GF it's the same damn thing now.

My wife is a huge football fan too so I didn’t have to ask twice to schedule the wedding in April during the mildest time of the year in south Louisiana

Florida plays Vanderbilt on the road that day. Sounds like they were somewhat considerate since they picked a weekend against a shitty opponent and it isnt a home game.

Ironically vandy might win

How do wedding planners allow Saturday weddings during football season?

Its the bride that picks out the date.

Good luck trying to get a bigger stake in that decision or that day.
