surprised to see some of the responses here.

I agree doing it before marriage is dumb but post-marriage it’s just convenient.

Easier to just pop open the phone and see where your spouse is when deciding when to start dinner or when I need to be cleaned up after lawn work or whatever.

The government already knows where I am 24/7, my wife may as well too

Some of us don’t let the women run our shite.

This is the biggest regret in my relationship. I guess its better than "wya" or "wyd" every 20 mins when I'm not with her.

Nah she wants to know where you at at all times so when she is cheating, she knows if you coming home early or not so Jody has enough time to leave it the back door

My girlfriend of 3 years wants us to share each others locations on iphone. I have resisted this so far because I think its unnecessary and a bit of a violation of privacy.

After 3 years your relationship should be at the point where this should be no big deal. The fact that you are balking should be a hint that you don't see a future with her.

And they all use insane bullshite like this as their reasons. As if the frequency of grown men being kidnapped is common. And if it did happen, they’d be smart enough to ditch the phone with gps tracking capabilities anyways

That, and the fact the authorities can track your phone whether or not you do the life360 thing. If you get kidnapped and have your phone on you, the cops will find you real damn quick. What is the gf going to do, assemble the A-Team and coordinate your extraction because of life360? "What if you get kidnapped" your girlfriend is dumb.

For what purpose? Her excuse is bullshite, so what's the real reason? Not no, but hell no. You said you left Wal-Mart, but I can clearly see you are still in the parking lot. WHY ARE YOU LYING TO ME? HELL NO.

This is why it’s a frick no. I don’t answer to anyone. And I can think of several instances where it comes off as you lying where you are when you aren’t.
