Why do people ignore the science that shows women are bisexual naturally. She's going through hormonal changes where emotions can change her attractions to different genders..

She's 14. She'll probably change a lot between now and the time she's 18, and the time she's 24, and the time she's 30.
And yeah she's probably somewhat self-absorbed, which is a common condition for children.
The saddest thing about this incident is that grown arse adults are melting over a 14 year old girl's description of her own sexual orientation. She's 14, guys, chill the frick out
