My parents always did Santa unwrapped and they would get us 1 or 2 things from “them” that were wrapped. Help us buy in to Santa more. They would always say, if Santa wasn’t real then why wouldn’t we wrap everything

My wife always wrapped the kids gifts unless they were too big. I think she just wanted it to be a surprise for them.

Depends on the Item or gift... But almost all are Wrapped...

Unwrapped, who the frick has a lazy Santa... I spend many a year staying up late at night Wrapping and drinking... Cause By Gosh Santa needs a hangover.

In the North Pole the elves make the presents, they don’t wrap them.

Ours were always wrapped with different paper. My wife's were always unwrapped so we used to compromise and do a few of each.

Our Santa days have been over for 4-5 years now though.

Yeah, me neither until recent years. I just figured it was parents justifying being lazy asses.

Saying "trashy" is trashy. Santa's gifts were usually too big to be wrapped, 'cause they were the good ones.

ETA, this was back in the '80's, before a "good" gift meant something technology based.

Me and my kids laugh at all the other kids that think Santa and elf on a shelf are real.
