GFS Modeling Question

I’ve noticed the last 7 or so runs of the GFS have a hurricane spinning out of the Western Caribbean and putting one into the gulf. I know it’s 2 weeks out but I find it interesting that every single run is showing something consistently, so just wondering from a modeling perspective how accurate that could be

GFS stands for garbage forecasting system. At least that’s what one of the weather sites said when I saw this same story.

The GFS has been shite for the past couple years but after targeting every state of the Gulf with this make believe hurricane, it seems to now be consistent with a South Florida run.

The GFS is known for spitting out bogus tropical systems in the longer range.

there is always some model predicting some calamity way too far out to take seriously. I get several posts a week predicting winter weather (snow in S. Louisiana in December). Same goes with some sort of tropical storm in the Gulf six weeks out. Pretty sure its an anomaly that is used as click bait.
I wouldn't worry about it. And I sure wouldn't plan on a white Christmas. Pretty sure we'll be in shorts and a tshirt like every other Holiday.

Maybe, but I wouldn’t put much stock into until it consistently shows up in the close range and/or it is backed up by other models.

Or just wait until the level of panic reaches a fever pitch on this site and the discussion flows to where to get bread and milk and how to store titty milk for a storm, then it is time to hit the panic button.
Until then keep calm, drink a few beers and watch LSU lay 100 on La Tech or if Lane is generous to an in state paycheck game school keep it to under 60 this weekend.
