Not gonna lie, if you're my neighbor and you're outside mowing at 8 PM, you're going to have to deal with me every single time.

I'm sitting on 6 acres, and everyone around here has various size acreages. Behind my property and across the street is cow pasture, with neighbors only on the sides. If they happen to walk outside and look in my direct, then they would know I was mowing.

Staying up until 1 and waking up at 5? That's pain.

That’s the shite you can get away with when you’re young. The older I get the more sleep I want/need. Still wake up at 05:30, but I’m a sleepy motherfricker by 10:00PM.

And naps. I’ve never in my life been able to take a nap. Till now.

Sorry, I read the mower at 8 thing and jumped on your comment. Missed this part.

I suppose for me, I'm just tired. If I'm up at 4, typically by 7pm I'm plumb worn out. I like the mornings because it's quiet. It can be quiet late at night, but more often than not in the distance you hear someone being an a-hole. Someone who drank too much maybe being silly, a kid up late playing outside, dogs barking on their last walk.

This is especially true on the weekends. Honestly, I hate the energy people seem to have on the weekends. It's almost palpable. I want to go to sleep earlier on Friday and Saturday than I do any other day of the week.

Shouldn't have assumed, that's one me. I live within spitting distance of my neighbor, it's a nightmare. People on our block are usually done with mowers/power tools by 730 at the latest.

Checking in. Sometimes 9-5 or even 10-6 on the weekends if I'm feeling crazy

I do not want to get up at 4am

I like this.

People in Boise seem to go by the rhythms of the seasons. Which is nice, but I think I'm more time oriented. If bedtime is at 8 in the winter, I'm not changing it to 930 in the summer just because the sun is still out.

If my routine is altered I'm a wreck mentally.

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.

On the occasion that I get up that early, I'm sure I typically go to bed earlier as well. The morning quiet is much better than the evening, agreed. My schedule this time of year more follows daylight I guess. Pitch dark at about 9, finish up and try to start relaxing not long after 10, maybe watch a bit of something on TV while reading internet or something, and fall asleep anytime after that through around midnight. Day break is just before 6 am, so around that time I get up.

I go to work at 4a in summer, 5-5:30a in winter. I usually take a month or three off in winter as well.

Currently on bed at 1 and awake at 6 thanks to my 6 week old offspring. "shite is wack, son" as I say to him each morning as I feed him

It makes me feel better

When I'm on vacation and I wake up when I want, I start to feel awful around day 2 or 3. I feel like I have no structure to my day, I start to flounder.

My FIL is like this. When he visits and we ask what time he plans on waking up, he says "Probably around 7-8. I'll call you and we can figure something out for tomorrow." Which drives me up the fricking wall.

Maybe I'm just weak. But if I'm not adhering to a regular schedule I'm all sorts of fricked up.
