Just dosing the math, you aren't too far from 50. I assume the other heaux is,too

I don't know any women that age who are very jealous. If she is she's a flake and someone to avoid.

I don't know too many 50 year olds who give a shite about an ex from 34 or so years ago. Unless you're making contingencies for when your spouse croaks and you need a partner to move into Del Boca Vista with, it's stupid.

I understand. I've got a lot of female friends. Most of them on Facebook and most that I've dated and stayed friends with. This would not be negotiable. We don't date anymore for various reasons but we've remained friends. I don't know how I'd react if it became an issue. I am seeing someone now who I feel like I could get serious with so I don't know. I just hope it doesn't become a problem

The real question is: does she want to buy your football tickets or not?

She's not his wife. Apparently she went through his phone and got my number.

He and I have kept in touch since then and now the current chick is calling me.

I have seen him maybe a half dozen times in the last 5 years but we text and facebook occasionally in present time.

Hardly worth her getting jealous over. I consider him an old friend, nothing more.

How can I get rid of her? I am not going to try to explain my "relationship" with him to her because there is nothing to explain.

Cut off communication. If its nothing more, then you'll have no problem cutting out the consistent contact. You're just opening a can of worms by continuing the contact. Sounds like you're way too old to be so ignorant to what her issue is. Read any story of infidelity, and lots of those stories start out like this, and nowadays its always EXACTLY like this with the facebook/texting. By no means am i saying you're going to do anything, but you have to understand she doesn't see it like you do at all.

That's what I don't get. He said she's jealous.

It's so stupid I am having trouble comprehending it all.

All women get jealous. Don't give me this "yeah but I'm an exception..."

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that line.

You would be just as jealous if the roles were reversed.

Well if you know it's her calling, obviously you have her number.

She left me a message stating she's a "friend" of his and to please call her back. She didn't block her number.

After I posted here, I contacted him and ask him why she's calling me and how did she get my number. This woman isn't his wife. There's no reason I cannot be friends with him. I don't want to date him.

He said she's crazy. If he wants to date crazy, then so be it.

Are you this retarded in real life or are you trying to look stupid just for this thread?

Maybe you can explain why my ex cheating on me should exclude me from giving relationship advice. She didn't contract bi-polarism from me and I certainly didn't cause her sexual deviantcy. I'm sure she picked that up around the time her father raped her. In any event me choosing her could show poor decision making on my part but I mistakenly thought I could help her. I would think that with my experiences I would be uniquely qualified to give advice.

Yeah, bullshite.

It's not a matter of being sane. Jealousy is a natural feeling that all humans get.

Now she may have not handled it in a very grown up way. But if you truly got honest with yourself and put yourself in her shoes, you might understand why the situation itself would arouse at the very least, suspicion.

I am not jealous that he is dating someone. I couldn't care less unless it crosses over into my life and her calling me does just that.

It's not rational behavior on her part. I can count on one hand how many times I've seen him in person in the last 5 years. We have mutual friends since I am friendly with the brother-in-law and sister.

I'm not going to stop being friends with any of them. This woman's not his wife and I've never discussed with him who he dates. He's always doing stuff by himself , so I really don't think she is an important part of his day to day existence.

He says she's crazy. She may be just that.
