You have to say no. There is always someone asking for money for one thing or another.. Or someone asking you to buy something for some group trying to raise money. You have to put a limit on that shite.. And that seems odd. Cashiers asking people to donate money to a local high school? If they need money then raise it. Sell something.. Do something to earn it.

What exactly does the local HS need the money for? If I give money, I would like to know if it is going towards something that I would support..

Albertson's is irritating because their chip machine asks, "Donate to the Hungry?" in the amount of 1, 2, and 5 dollars.

I'm with you. I will be honest, I don't like donating to charities.. I mean, I like to help people, but you really have no idea where your money goes.

Like after natural disasters.. You hear about all the money donated, then a year later you hear about all the people who are still struggling, etc.. It seems like everyone has to wait on government funding..

It seems like every time I pay with a card at cvs or Walgreens I'm being asked to donate to something. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, it all depends on the mood I'm in. I go to these stores a lot too.

I normally respond "not today."

Say "No, thanks. Not today" and they'll be fine. One time I even heard a little church group girl say that's the nicest way they'd been turned down

I don’t mind telling them no, but it pisses me off when I see the scumbag ‘born again christian’ Former druggies aggressively asking for donatons, peddling their Jesus hats and merch outside of Walmart.

Before he could get a word out, I looked @ him and said,”Not a chance in hell” .... it shocked him enough to quiet him and save the next batch of people behind me from their cocky ‘pandering’ bs.
