My wife says I snore like a freight train, so I've been thinking about getting one, but I have a hard time sleeping as it is and don't know if I could ever get used to wearing that mask.

Did sleep study about a month ago but still haven’t heard back from them.

Then how do you know you need one?

How do you know what pressure to use without the sleep study results and recomendations?

Couldn't do CPAP, choked me out and couldn't move around. Bought a Serta Icomfort adjustible bed and I no longer snore and sleep great.

It was $3500 but worth every penny for the difference in quality of life...

seriously though, i got so weak, i could`t work a full day, BP would go from normal to 200/110 in a matter of minutes, went to sleep a couple of nights not sure if i would wake up, after my fourth trip to the ER they sent me to a cardiologist who said my heart was failing but it could be reversed, you guessed it six months later i`m walking two miles a day after working eight all thanks to my cpap.

You should be able to get the results from them. They usually have a programming mode that you go into to set the pressure.

If you truly have apnea you should feel much better quickly. I've had mine for 15 years....love it
