I can see what you mean about he nose pillows getting annoying though

I mentioned this earlier, get a Philips Dreamwear mask. Works great, and no nasal pillows to irritate your nose.

did the sleep study 3 weeks ago. failed miserably. got my cpap and I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. finally have it set to where I'm not blowing blood out of my nose in the am. I sleep hard but have been waking up WIDE awake at 3am so far. don't snore anymore and I don't hold my breath at night.

Hope the nose pillows work for you... they suck donkey balls though IMHO. I have always been much more successful with a full mask (that covers both nose and mouth) like a Mirage Quattro or Simplus.

Well, I don’t feel as tired as I normally do.

Wasn’t that bad. I think I only took it off once During the night

Been using since September of last year.

50 year old trashy smoker. My blood pressure has dropped from low 120's over low 80's to 111/62 on my last check.

I've used one for about 3 years. I was headed for a stroke or heart attack. My pressure is 14. The max is 20. My ENT, upon reviewing the results of the sleep study, said "I knew you were bad, but not this bad."

I have to use a full face mask as I breathe thru my mouth. Years of sinus trouble will do that.

It's not fun putting a mask on, and I can't sleep over 5 hours now. I get good sleep though. Technology is rapidly improving wrt to CPAP equipment, although expensive. It saved my life.
