On another note, a lot of unemployed service industry people are making better money than what they were at full capacity. Should be interesting to monitor who exactly will want to work
That is going to be the biggest challenge.
I've said from the beginning, restaurants at 25% capacity will have to have a cover charge.

Friend of mine outside of Louisiana said when they opened up the restaurants in his State they were still basically empty

25% capacity means a modest restaurant with 30 tables can have 7 tables open at a time.
Sounds like you're the moron if you think that is what this means.

I'm not cowering in fear, I'm just not dumb enough to stand in line for hours to eat a restaurant that will be a zoo
but how exactly does anyone else standing in line impact you?
You sound like the type who expects everyone to have the same perspective and opinions as you. And you definitely sound like an a-hole so there's that as well.

This is actually insecurity. Secure people domt waste time with that shite. There was a lot of faux snob virtue signaling in there

Wondering if the "capacity restrictions" could in some ways be a nod to the need to phase this back in, and an understanding of the potential issues of trying to flip a switch on it.
Texas is considering reinstating work-search requirements for those on unemployment, starting some time after the expected May 18 increase of capacity to 50 percent.
There are exceptions (now) for those who don’t want to return if they have underlying conditions, live with people older than 65, etc.
The Texas Democrats are not happy with reinstating the work search (I know, surprise, surprise).

Do you really want EVERYONE clamoring to go to the places YOU WANT TO GO? I don't, so I'm not going to beat my chest badmouthing muh chains and people who may want to go to those places.
Ahhh. Selfish Covid-Capitalism.
Michigan didn't fight for that.

The way I see it, the 25% restriction makes it not likely so.
I suspect there should be more than enough to spread around to everyone under such strictures.

Sounds like you dont want to stand in line. I'll let everyone know they should stay home so you get first table. What a pussy
