Pretty simple solution to this. Just keep your hands to yourself.

The judge should have her kick him in the nuts to settle the issue.

If anything we have seen male celebrities held to an even higher level of scrutiny in the last few years.

My hunch is that we have quite a few who feel that this man being charged with a crime is crazy and a man getting shot for committing petty theft is fine since he broke the law and actions have consequences.

Lesson learned through all these threads: get your hands up

So he's gonna be a sex offender for the rest of his life for this?
That's fricked up.

I don’t believe it’s required in Georgia to register for his actions. My guess is he will plead guilty, have to give an apology, pay a fine, and do 40-60 hours community service.....which should be easy considering he’s a youth minister

Yea. I would be very pissed if this happened to my wife, sister, daughter, etc. However, I don’t think I would want someone else’s life to be ruined by it.

Honestly, it probably propelled her career too. She’s now got the attention of every news agency in the country. She will probably be working for a major liberal network in no time.

I don’t know what I would have done if I were her but it wouldn’t be like this.

Ruin his life?

Uh huh. He does that to my wife or girlfriend or daughter in front of me, I'm going Tony Soprano on him. Period.

Not sure I agree with that 100%, but property crime is a much bigger problem than grab-arse. It's a much bigger problem than white supremacists, sexism, homophobia, etc. are, for that matter

No, she won't.

This bitch will try to milk it on every talk show that will have her drama queen arse.

She wants fame, not "justice". She will play her martyrdom to the hilt.

Exactly, I said one day, a long time form now. when she's old, and no one will pay to look at her wrinkles, she will think back and then realize what a crappy thing she did.

Why do people keep on parroting this line? His life is not going to be ruined! It's a misdemeanor! If his life is ruined over a misdemeanor offense then he obviously has other problems we don't yet know about.

You can recover quite easily from a charge of sexual battery. It's far less severe than the charge of sexual assault.

She will use this as a stepping stone and have a seat at the table with the View or the Talk before you know it.

Yes and no. Asking for sex in exchange for a movie part is apparently now taboo. Good looking women that follow celebrities and athletes around, offering sex, is still abundant.

This has been mentioned before in the thread and in common law it is incorrect. Assault is where you threaten to do harm to someone and that threat puts that person in fear, the battery is actually touching. Without going into the multiple ways different jurisdictions use the words in general assault is a lesser included offense with battery. I don't think Georgia even has a separate crime of sexual assault only varying degrees of sexual battery, sexual battery is the lowest of these and rape is the highest charge.

Sexual battery is a non-registry misdemeanor in Georgia assuming he has a clean record and has not used his get out of jail free card he will likely plead to this or Georgia's version of unwanted touching go into pre-trial intervention and end the whole affair without a record.
