Living in the state of Georgia has been miserable for months due to the election, but since November it has been turned up to 11. Every single commercial is adds against or for a candidate. Every single one. No commercials for Charmin or Cheerios.

My mailbox has $10 a day of mailers, stuffed. I get 3-10 calls or texts a day. I finally disconnected our house phone because of it. (I had a house phone for a kid with no cell, but the kid has one now)

I long for Jan 6. Over $200 mil wasted since November.

Monday's mail 12 mailers

Yesterday's only 7

The "Sorry to disturb you" response to the choke yourself text cracked me up.

I saw someone respond "I'm vegan" to a Loeffler unsolicited text. The response said that they had successfully unsubscribed. That may be the only good thing a vegan has done

Mailers are such a damn waste. Who doesn't deposit every one of them directly into the trash?

Yeah, it's pretty annoying.

I got a Democrat door hanger that I don't think you even have in your pictures. I also got a Republican mailer aimed at black neighborhoods that talks about Lincoln and has some black Republican Senator on it.

I try to stay fairly removed from politics, it makes for a nicer life. I learned that in my 30s.

I'm not sure what the polling shows but I could easily see it going either way. I think there were voters that definitely voted in the general election that were "anyone but Trump." These voters might not show up for the Dems in the runoff or might even like the Rep balance in the senate. But, there's also a bunch of rumors that voters are flooding in from out of state trying to vote in the runoff. Not sure which way it'll go.

My recycling bin is filled. I cannot believe there is an undecided voter left at this point.

I’m getting to the point where I see why some people decide not to vote.

Every politician is the same. They are all crooks.

If I ran for office first two bills I would write would be for people to opt out of junk mail and that everyone has to abide by phone opt outs.

It isn't limited to Georgia. I live in Texas and I have a junk email box full of Purdue, Loeffler fund raising emails. I managed to STOP out of it in text messages. But not before they managed to wrangle a few hundred dollars from me. And interestingly, I donate one day and they are at it again the next. It's as though my donation ran through their hands like shite through a goose.

I also live in Georgia and 1/5 can't come fast enough. I am SO over the mail, commercials, texts and phone calls.

Ossoff scares the crap out of me, though. That dude's an oven-stuffer in the making for sure.

Yep, it's nuts. The spam texts, constant YouTube ads, mail flyers, and general BS from relatives and friends encouraging me to vote for one or the other is annoying as hell. I already voted and I can't wait for the shite to be over.

Live in Atlanta and I’m way past over it also. I now just block anybody that comes at me with an unsolicited text or voicemail, ain’t nobody got time for that.
Voted absentee for Perdue and Loeffler, but am fairly convinced at this point, after all the shenanigans in the general election that our piece of shite governor and Secretary of State did nothing about, that the fix is in. Damn sure hope I’m wrong.
