The cops could have showed up at their door, said “hey, you shouldn’t smoke pot and you definitely should change therapists” and went on their way.

I don’t even understand the mindset. Will the sheriff or DA lose an election Bc they won’t arrest/prosecute parents like this? Medical marijuana is an absolute winning issue for any politician with the sense to support it. Recreational use is split a little more closely, but almost nobody opposes medical use.

People are missing the bigger picture here.
The pharmaceutical companies demand those good people like these people be punished more severely than drug cartels because they represent the real threat: when the majority figures out the lies spewed about Marijuana and realize the health benefits of hemp are extraordinary and cheap, the drug industry goes kaput--finished.
Must make a prime example of this family and any others like them attempting to usurp law that is draconian and lopsided.
Also, there are many hands that are fed because of this phony war on drugs (mainly MJ).
The legal system there in Georgia is trashy as frick I see. frick em.

You don't know the value of hemp do you? I have colitis and it does a better job of controlling my symptoms than any expensive medicine a I've ever taken.
Those with chronic pain or chronic disease have many stories.
But laugh as though I am a fool. I appreciate the herb god gave to help those like me. It is a blessing only the government could deny. Satan bless government.

I have a friend who took 1200mg of depakote for seizures. He was a blabbering zombie. He could not carry on a conversation...only blabber, usually about something He blabbered about just a few minutes earlier.
Cannabis isn't good for children? Maybe we should stop giving chemo to cancer patients because it isn't good for them. Especially kids. Please. Give it a rest.

The parents thought long and hard beforehand. Seriously think about it. They have this poor kid who is used to seizing up all the time. None of the medical doctors can do shite to help the poor little dude. The parents see a video or Facebook post of one of thousands of stories like this. Nancy do you think we should try it? Jim I don't know. It might help but its illegal. Well nothing else is working and we have to do something. I'll do it with him. And only at home. Only with me. Let's see if it works. Ok, jim, but we should still talk to his doctor about it.
This is not peruvian flake cocaine or LSD25 or black tar heroine or pure crystal methamphetamine.
